Swings, two slides, climbing frames, a basketball hoop, see-saws, rocking horses, a barbeque and generally plenty of noise!

But did you know that Redmile playpark, whilst being adopted by the local Parish Council, is still operated, funded and maintained by local volunteers?

That means that, every year, 28 Redmile households give up a weekend to mow the grass, trim the hedges and repair / repaint the equipment.

The village also has regular fundraising events (see the photos of the 2007 Easter Egg Hunt or Summer Ball!) to provide for future repairs and new equipment. Everyone is encouraged to participate to secure this vital part of the community for current and future children from the area. You can find details of the next fundraisers in the Diary section.
